We are pleased to announce that the following SIB course on:
Statistics and Machine Learning for Life Sciences<https://www.sib.swiss/training/course/20211209_STAML>
which will be streamed on 09-10 December 2021 is now open for applications.
This course was designed to guide life scientists in exploring concepts of statistical modelling and machine learning, and thus gain new insights when mining large biological datasets.
A particular focus will be given in relating and contrasting both approaches when it comes to classification and regression, on the evaluation of the relevance of the produced models, and their interpretation in order to provide new biological knowledge.
Further detailed information, prerequisites and application form are available here<https://www.sib.swiss/training/course/20211209_STAML>.
