Dear all, 

We are pleased to announce the following SIB course on: 

First Steps with R in Life Sciences, 17 -18 December 2020, Zurich

R is a complete, flexible and open source system for statistical analysis and graphics, which has become a tool of choice for biologists and biomedical scientists who need to analyze and visualize large amounts of data.

This 2-day course will give an introduction to R and Rstudio (an integrated development environment for R) in an interactive manner. Participants will receive example data sets to practice data manipulation, graphical exploration and statistical hypothesis testing.

This course will take place in person in Zurich with rules complying to the COVID-19 situation (distance and hygiene). In the event of new restrictions from the Swiss Government preventing us from organizing the course face to face, it will not be cancelled but switched to a virtual event (only for the registered participants) on the same date.
