Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the following SIB course:

"Deep learning for digital pathology image analysis"

This course will be held in Basel on 14 March 2019 and is addressed to clinicians and researchers who are interested in discovering deep learning methods for the analysis of histopathological image data.

There are two component to this course - the morning will consist of lectures which introduce the relevant topics and state-of-the-art methods for deep learning in digital pathology image analysis. This will be followed by an optional practicals session in the afternoon, where participants will learn to apply deep learning methods for digital pathology using the PyTorch framework.
