Dear colleagues,
The SIB is organizing again its highly successful series of classes on
presentation skills. These classes are taught by Damian Conway, a
well-known speaker and trainer, and they consistently receive excellent
feedback. All participants, from master or PhD students to lab heads,
will benefit from the techniques presented in these two courses.
There will be two separate courses:
* "Advanced Technical Presentation 1: Core Techniques" will take place
on Thursday 17 May 2018.
This class explains — and demonstrates — the key techniques that
combine to produce an effective and enjoyable technical
presentation. You can find more information at
https://www.sib.swiss/training/course/2018-05-presentation-core
* "Advanced Technical Presentation 2: Design and Delivery Skills", the
followup class, will take place on Friday 18 May 2018.
This class will reveal many additional subtle and sophisticated
techniques that can lift your presentations from "great" to
"extraordinary". It is recommended to follow the first class before
attending this one, but this is not compulsory. You can find more
information at
https://www.sib.swiss/training/course/2018-05-presentation-design-delivery

There is no prerequisite for these courses. Note that the number of
seats is limited, and they will be attributed on a "first come, first
served" basis.

For other participants: 300 CHF per day
