Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the following SIB course:

*Transcriptomics Analysis: RNA-seq - 25 & 26 April - Lausanne**
*
This two-day course is targeted at any scientist who has to analyse
RNA-seq data. It will provide an overview of the RNA-seq analysis
pipeline, as well as the downstream analysis of the resulting data using
bioconductor packages in R. The course will cover the following topics:

  * The structure of an RNAseq analysis pipeline:
      o Raw data quality check;
      o RNAseq reads alignment;
      o Gene Expression level quantification and normalisation by reads
        counting;
      o De novo Transcripts reconstruction and differential splicing.
  * Overview of downstream analysis
      o Differential Expression analysis with R/Bioconductor packages;
      o Class discovery: usage of Principal Component Analysis,
        Clustering, Heatmaps, Gene Set Enrichment Analysis in RNA-seq
        analysis.
