Dear all,

We are pleased to announce a course on RNA & Disease that is being
jointly organised by the SIB and NCCR in RNA & Disease.

*"**First steps in computational biology for RNA Research"
**15-16 May 2017 in Lausanne*

The aim of this two-day introductory workshop is to allow attendees to
gain insight into basic computing techniques and their potential
applications in RNA biology. This workshop, where theory alternates
with hands-on practical exercises, has the long-term goal to prepare
experimental-based scientists to better meet the challenge of data-rich
research and provide the foundations for further training endeavors.*

*Please note that there is a limited number of seats and that priority
is given to NCCR in RNA & Disease members.

Further detailed information, prerequisites and application form are
available from here
<http://www.sib.swiss/training/upcoming-training-events/2017-05-nccr>.
Any question? Don't hesitate to contact us at training at sib.swiss.

Best wishes,
Diana Marek
