Dear all,

there are a few seats available for the workshop "INTRODUCTION TO
TRANSCRIPTOMICS" organized by the PhD program in Molecular Plant
Sciences (CUSO) and the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. The workshop
was organized in priority for PhD student, but the course is now open to
everyone.

It will take place tomorrow (Tuesday 30 April) at the University of
Lausanne.

Description:
During this day, pros and cons of the most recent transcriptome analysis
methods (qPCR, RNA-seq, microarrays) will be discussed. A special
emphasis will be placed on current statistical approaches and data
validation. The goal of this course is to give PhD students a good
knowledge of the aforementioned techniques and run their own experiments.
