Dear all,

We are organizing a workshop for bioinformatics PhD students, in the
Swiss Alps, in September 11-16.

Briefly, the students will be isolated in a Chalet with a few faculty
members, and will be asked to work in groups, and come up with an
original research project.

This should provide a unique opportunity to interact with students and
faculty from diverse areas of bioinformatics, and develop skills such as
expression of scientific ideas, thinking critically, and writing a
proposal and defending it.

The faculty will be:
	• Alex Stark, Institute Molecular Pathology, Vienna, Austria
	• Tal Pupko, Tel Aviv University, Israel
	• Frédérique Lisacek, SIB, Geneva
	• Ernest Feytmanns, SIB, Geneva
	• Marc Robinson-Rechavi, SIB and University of Lausanne

All practical information is available here:

Best regards,
Patricia Palagi
