Dear all,

We would like to draw your attention on the workshop "Patenting in Life
Sciences", which will be held in Les Diablerets on 27-28.06.2011.

Researchers in life sciences are increasingly confronted with issues  
related
to patents and intellectual property. They often deal
unprofessionally with these situations because of lack of information  
and
basic knowledge in this area. Therefore the CUSO (Conférence  
Universitaire
de Suisse Occidentale) and the Forum for Genetic Research of the Swiss
Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) decided to organize in June a workshop for
doctoral students on patents in biological sciences.
